Can you manage the countdown?

In this top-down combat game made for the GMTK Game Jam 2026, your attack power decreases throughout each number of the countdown, but you can select effects to receive on each number on the countdown. How you plan around this is up to you--but if the countdown reaches zero, it's game over.

Controls

This game uses WASD to move, E to attack, and Q to decrease the countdown. Countdown effects can be dragged to a number slot within the countdown menu to apply the effect on that number of the countdown.
